Following the launch of our beautiful new EF MEDISPA clinic in Edgbaston, we thought we would put together a travel guide of what to do in and around the area. The list is endless but we’ve handpicked some of our favourites.
A trip to the gardens
Birmingham is home to one of the most stunning gardens, found
in Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The gardens offer a little something for everyone and includes 4 beautiful glasshouses, each containing exotic and tropical plants that are not found in the UK. There is also a butterfly house where you can discover wildlife from the Philippines, Central America and some parts of Africa. Following a trip to the gardens, why not a try a bespoke facial at our clinic, only a 2-minute drive or a short walk from the botanical gardens.
A spot of shopping
Fancy a spot of shopping? The city’s famous
Bullring shopping centre holds over 160 commercial retails stores as well as many bars and restaurants, perfect for some much-needed retail therapy. The very popular shopping centre is located in the heart of Birmingham, just a 10-minute drive from our clinic in Edgbaston. Head there after your shopping trip for a Drip & Chill treatment to restore your energy levels.
For the cricket fans
If your more interested in sports then shopping,
Warwickshire County Cricket Club also known as Edgbaston Stadium. The stadium is considered as one of England’s leading cricket grounds, staging some of the biggest international test matches. Just a 6 minute drive from the EF MEDISPA clinic, you can head to a match after a treatment of your choice.
A chocolate lovers dream
Looking for something a little different? Whether you’re a love chocolate or not, you’ll be fascinated by the process of how Cadbury’s make their chocolate.
Cadbury’s World is perfect for the whole family and brings a unique experience to Birmingham, just a short 15-minute drive from our clinic. Along with a tour of Cadbury’s World, you can also enjoy an afternoon tea or a chocolate making workshop if you’re feeling creative.
Take a walk on the wild side
If you’re an animal lover, you may want to pay a visit to
Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park. A 7short drive from our Edgbaston clinic takes you to a world of wildlife including reptiles, wallabies, red pandas and monkeys, just to name a few.
Evening entertainment at Symphony Hall
Birmingham Symphony Hall is home to the city’s Symphony Orchestra and offers a range of entertainment including classical music, concerts and comedy shows. With just a 6-minute drive from the EF MEDISPA clinic, we recommend our LED Luminous Lift, perfect for lifting, firming and rejuvenating the skin before the show.
